The PLC Utilities Alliance is the solely utility-oriented association, which stands for and successfully represents the interest of the electrical companies regarding the PLC industry in front of all the stakeholders (European Commission, national and local authorities, manufacturers, chip developers and further PLC worldwide organizations).

The PUA has also developed a significant experience in Power Line Communications.

PUA members are present in a total of 23 countries worldwide with more than 100 million electrical customers, and have been developing PLC projects for more than five years, consisting not only of pilot and massive field trials, but also commercial roll-outs to provide access services.
